Everyone on the site is here to find someone compatible to live with to enhance their home lives. Please treat everyone with the respect they deserve.

No-one wants to be demeaned or made to feel uncomfortable. Please refrain from insulting anyone's personal traits or preferences, or from making libellous or threatening comments. This will not be tolerated.

This is a matching site for hosts and lodgers to find compatible homeshares. It is not a dating site and must not be treated as such. Profile images must be of the site member, or their family, and the homeshare property in question. We reserve the right to remove and ban from the site anyone using indecent or irrelevant images, or anyone using their profile or our internal messaging service in a way that is deemed to be inappropriate or offensive.

Trust is all important. People want to express themselves freely and open debate in the community groups is encouraged. But everyone should feel confident that nothing will be shared beyond the internal messaging system or any private community groups.

We offer instant messaging and emailing via the site to allow people to communicate and check one another’s backgrounds prior to sharing their personal details. Contact details should not be included on profiles as it will bypass this safeguarding measure as well as all other matching filters.

If someone does not wish to reveal more of their personal details, or supply their contact details outside of the site, you must refrain from trying to persuade them.

Do not use this site to solicit financial or other assistance of any kind beyond the specifications of the living arrangement, as detailed.

During a homeshare both parties must act appropriately and honestly in honouring their contract. Making unreasonable or inappropriate demands that were not pre-agreed, or behaving in a way that makes someone feel threatened or uncomfortable is not acceptable. We reserve the right to ban from the site anyone suspected of breaching these terms.
